At the moment it looks pretty basic, and of course it's far too early to tell whether it will be a success or not (question: why pay for video on this site when there are all the videos you can eat at YouTube or, of course, through Blinkx itself?), but it does highlight the trend for online video, and the monetising of the same.
All the evidence we have is that online video advertising is booming hugely. Let's hope that is adequately reflected in the next figures from Blinkx, due in November...
